Role Overview

Python Full Stack Developer (Remote)

You will build and enhance full-stack web applications, working across both frontend and backend systems. The role focuses on React for the frontend and Python/FastAPI for the backend, with end-to-end ownership from feature design through production support.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance React-based web applications
  • Develop backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI
  • Work with REST APIs, asynchronous services, and microservice-based architectures
  • Investigate software failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes
  • Participate in testing, code reviews, and production releases
  • Collaborate with engineers across multiple teams to deliver new functionality
  • Support and improve applications running in Linux environments

Requirements

  • 7+ years of software development experience
  • Strong React experience in production environments
  • Strong Python experience
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI
  • JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience with REST APIs and JSON integrations
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Linux command line experience
  • Familiarity with Bash or Python scripting
  • Understanding of modern application architecture and software design principles

Nice to Have

  • WebSockets and real-time applications
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and distributed systems
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications
