Role overview

Contract B2B Python Analytics Engineer for the Atoti Platform (Germany; remote with onsite onboarding). Build high-performance analytical applications and data pipelines for complex datasets.

Responsibilities

Develop analytics applications using Atoti Python APIs and create multidimensional cubes
Design and manage ETL pipelines integrating multiple data sources (CSV, databases, streaming)
Optimize query performance, aggregations, and overall system scalability
Build backend services and REST APIs to expose analytics data
Collaborate with quant analysts and frontend teams to deliver insights

Requirements (must-have)

Strong Python experience with hands-on Atoti
Solid understanding of OLAP and multidimensional data modeling (measures, hierarchies, dimensions)
SQL experience plus data transformation and ETL
Query optimization skills, including MDX and performance tuning
Backend development experience with REST APIs
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, VSCode/PyCharm, and Linux/Windows environments
Experience with unit and integration testing

Nice-to-have

Financial analytics or risk systems experience
Experience with analytical databases/OLAP engines and distributed systems
Docker / Kubernetes experience
