About the role

Role Overview

Python Engineer (AI Training) at Alignerr (fully remote, hourly contract). You’ll evaluate AI-generated Python code, solve algorithmic challenges, and provide structured feedback to improve how AI models generate code.

Responsibilities

Review and evaluate AI-generated Python code for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- adherence to professional best practices
Solve complex algorithmic problems and produce high-quality Python solutions
Write clear, human-readable explanations of code logic and problem-solving strategies
Identify edge cases, bugs, and ambiguities in AI responses
Provide structured, detailed feedback that improves AI understanding and output quality
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Requirements

Deep, hands-on Python expertise with evidence of production-level code
3–5+ years of professional Python development experience
Strong command of modern Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
Comfort with advanced Python features, design patterns, and performance considerations
Excellent written communication skills
B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related technical field
Self-motivated and consistent when working independently

Nice to Have

Experience with data annotation, RLHF, or AI evaluation workflows
Background in algorithm design, competitive programming, or technical problem-solving
Familiarity with code review processes or software quality evaluation
Experience across multiple Python domains (data science, backend, automation, systems)
