About the role
Role Overview
Python Engineer (AI Training) at Alignerr (fully remote, hourly contract). You’ll evaluate AI-generated Python code, solve algorithmic challenges, and provide structured feedback to improve how AI models generate code.
Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate AI-generated Python code for:
- correctness
- efficiency
- adherence to professional best practices
- Solve complex algorithmic problems and produce high-quality Python solutions
- Write clear, human-readable explanations of code logic and problem-solving strategies
- Identify edge cases, bugs, and ambiguities in AI responses
- Provide structured, detailed feedback that improves AI understanding and output quality
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Requirements
- Deep, hands-on Python expertise with evidence of production-level code
- 3–5+ years of professional Python development experience
- Strong command of modern Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI
- Comfort with advanced Python features, design patterns, and performance considerations
- Excellent written communication skills
- B.S. or higher in Computer Science or related technical field
- Self-motivated and consistent when working independently
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, RLHF, or AI evaluation workflows
- Background in algorithm design, competitive programming, or technical problem-solving
- Familiarity with code review processes or software quality evaluation
- Experience across multiple Python domains (data science, backend, automation, systems)
