Python Developer

Role Overview

Build and maintain the backend integrations that power the business, supporting an internal Python-based operations platform that brings together data and workflows from core systems. Join a small, hands-on team and work closely with an internal platform developer and the CTO.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend integrations between internal systems, CRM, and SaaS platforms
• Work with REST APIs, authentication, JSON payloads, and data mapping for service-to-service communication
• Contribute to internal Python-based operations platform
• Manage code via GitHub (branches, pull requests, code reviews)
• Improve reliability, maintainability, and documentation for internal tools and integrations

Requirements

• Solid Python fundamentals with practical experience building backend scripts/services/automations/integrations
• Comfortable working in a Linux development environment
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and backend data flows
• Working knowledge of SQL for relational database querying
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub (repositories, branches, pull requests)
• Comfortable using Visual Studio Code
• Strong communication and collaboration through code review (asking questions, sharing progress)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Container Apps or containers with Docker
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions or other CI/CD workflows

Compensation

• Annual base salary up to $110k (commensurate with experience)
