About the role

Python Developer (Remote)

Build and maintain the backend services and data pipelines that power Joveo’s AI-driven hiring platform.

Responsibilities

Develop robust Python services, APIs, and backend components
Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
Integrate third-party services and internal APIs using Python
Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and coverage
Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and the modern Python ecosystem
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Solid database understanding: SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with task queues, async processing, or data pipeline tools
Ability to write clean, well-tested, production-ready code

Nice-to-haves

ML-adjacent tooling experience (the role includes “ML-adjacent” work)
