Role Overview
Joveo AI is hiring a Python Developer (Remote) to build and maintain the backend services and data pipelines powering its AI-driven hiring platform. The role focuses on writing production Python at scale across APIs, automation, and ML-adjacent tooling.
Responsibilities
- Develop Python services, APIs, and other backend components
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
- Integrate third-party services and internal APIs using Python
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and coverage
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and the modern Python ecosystem
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Solid understanding of databases: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with task queues, async processing, or data pipeline tools
- Ability to write clean, well-tested, production-ready code
