About the role

Role Overview

Joveo Ai is hiring a Python Developer (Remote) to build and maintain the backend services and data pipelines that power its AI-driven hiring platform. You’ll write production Python at scale, spanning APIs, automation, and ML-adjacent tooling.

Key Responsibilities

Develop robust Python services, APIs, and other backend components
Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
Integrate third-party services and internal APIs using Python
Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and coverage
Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and the modern Python ecosystem
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Solid database knowledge: SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with task queues, async processing, or data pipeline tools
Ability to deliver clean, well-tested, production-ready code

Nice-to-Haves

Experience spanning ML-adjacent tooling and large-scale backend systems (implied by the role scope)
