About the role

Role Overview

Joveo Ai is hiring a Python Developer (Remote) to build and maintain backend services and data pipelines powering its AI-driven hiring platform.

Responsibilities

Develop robust Python services, APIs, and backend components
Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
Integrate third-party services and internal APIs using Python
Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and coverage
Optimize for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and the modern Python ecosystem
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Solid understanding of databases: SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure
Experience with task queues, async processing, or data pipeline tools
Ability to write clean, well-tested, production-ready code

Nice-to-Haves

Experience spanning API development, automation, and ML-adjacent tooling (implied by role scope)
