About the role
Role Overview
Joveo AI is hiring a Python Developer (Remote) to build and maintain the backend services and data pipelines that power its AI-driven hiring platform. You’ll write production Python at scale, working on APIs, automation, and ML-adjacent tooling.
Responsibilities
- Develop robust Python services, APIs, and backend components
- Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
- Integrate third-party services and internal APIs using Python
- Write unit and integration tests for reliability and coverage
- Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Python (3.x) and the modern Python ecosystem
- Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Solid database knowledge with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure: AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience with task queues, async processing, or data pipeline tools
- Ability to write clean, well-tested, production-ready code
