About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Python Developer (Remote) to build and maintain the backend services and data pipelines that power its AI-driven hiring platform. You’ll write production Python at scale, supporting APIs, automation, and ML-adjacent tooling in a fast-moving team.

Responsibilities

Develop robust Python services, APIs, and backend components
Build and maintain data processing pipelines and ETL workflows
Integrate third-party services and internal APIs using Python
Write unit and integration tests to ensure reliability and coverage
Optimize code for performance, scalability, and maintainability
Participate in architecture reviews and technical planning sessions

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in Python 3.x and the modern Python ecosystem
Experience with FastAPI, Django, or Flask
Solid database understanding with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL
Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with task queues, async processing, or data pipeline tools
Ability to write clean, well-tested, production-ready code
