Python Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Hourly Python Developer (Remote) supporting a model-training project for a leading foundational model AI lab. Commitment is ~20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Support development of a model-training project for a foundational model AI lab.
• Build and maintain complex, production-grade Python systems used in real-world environments.
• Design modular, testable codebases using modern Python tooling and best practices.
• Apply advanced Python concepts, including:
  • Decorators, generators, async/await, context managers
  • Performance tuning
• Participate in a Python-focused technical interview process.

Requirements

• Experience working at top US tech firms.
• Proven ability to build and maintain production-grade Python systems.
• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals and advanced features.
• Experience designing modular, testable codebases with modern tooling and best practices.
