Python Developer - Remote

Role Overview

Hourly remote contract (~20 hours/week) to support a model-training project for a leading foundational model AI lab.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support development of model-training systems.
• Build and maintain complex, production-grade Python systems used in real-world environments.
• Design modular, testable codebases using modern Python tooling and best practices.
• Use advanced Python features, including:
  • decorators
  • generators
  • async/await
  • context managers
  • performance tuning
• Participate in a technical interview process centered on Python.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working at top US tech firms.
• Proven track record building and maintaining complex, production-grade Python systems.
• Strong understanding of Python fundamentals and advanced language features.
• Experience designing modular, testable codebases with modern tooling and best practices.
