About the role

Role Overview

TechFlow is seeking a Remote Python Developer Intern (3-month duration) to help build and improve workflows that automate business processes within an AI tool. You’ll collaborate with the development team and the CTO to design, implement, and optimize Python-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the CTO and users to design and implement Python-based automation solutions
Develop and integrate efficient workflows to enhance the AI tool’s functionality
Write clean, maintainable, efficient Python code
Troubleshoot and debug workflow/automation issues
Assist with testing and validating feature accuracy and efficiency
Participate in project team meetings and provide ideas for automation opportunities
Continuously improve workflows based on feedback and performance data

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field with at least 1 year of completed coursework
Solid understanding of Python and API usage
Familiarity with basic AI concepts and tools (plus)
Experience/coursework related to data manipulation, APIs, or automation (beneficial)
Strong analytical/problem-solving and debugging skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage time effectively and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AI technologies (e.g., Machine Learning, NLP)
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP) and relevant platforms/services
Understanding of databases, data structures, algorithms, and software development principles
Exposure to data scrapers, AI tool usage, or MCP servers
