Python Developer

Role Overview

As a Python Developer, you’ll help train and validate next-generation AI systems by providing high-quality, real-world inputs. You’ll work closely with research and engineering teams to improve model robustness and effectiveness through testing, feedback, and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize REST and GraphQL endpoints for scalable APIs.
• Implement data validation, error handling, and API security best practices in backend services.
• Plan and execute database migrations, optimizations, and schema changes.
• Test new AI-powered models in Cursor, submitting actionable feedback via incident reports, bug traces, and screenshots.
• Participate in 4-day intensive testing bursts to assess how AI models impact real coding workflows.
• Collaborate with the research team in a dedicated Slack channel to discuss findings and propose improvements.
• Submit detailed post-burst surveys covering model performance and developer experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional backend development experience with strong Python.
• Proficiency building and maintaining RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Advanced understanding of backend data validation, error handling, and API security.
• Hands-on experience with database management, migrations, and optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, including documenting and presenting technical findings clearly.

Nice to Have

• No prior AI experience required; domain knowledge is emphasized.
