Role Overview

Join NewPage Solutions Inc. as a Python Developer to design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, and maintain scalable, efficient software applications following best practices
Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other engineers to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features
Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and share knowledge
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
Maintain documentation for code, development processes, and system configurations
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies
Support deployment and provide ongoing technical support for stable operations
Mentor/knowledge share, including supporting junior team members and contributing to planning meetings

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in software development with proficiency in Python (also mentions Java and C# / JavaScript)
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with modern development frameworks, version control, and Agile methodologies (highly desirable)
Proactive approach to learning and a commitment to delivering high-quality work

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud platforms, database management, and API integrations
