About the role

Role Overview

Senior Python/Automation Engineer to build AI-driven automation and agent-based systems for a Fortune 50 healthcare organization’s internal self-service cloud onboarding platform. You will work across Azure and GCP to design and deliver intelligent automation that enhances workflow efficiency, decision-making, and onboarding for engineering and application teams.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Python-based applications and services for automation workflows.
  • Build and enhance AI agent-based capabilities within internal engineering platforms.
  • Design workflow orchestration logic for multi-step, stateful (agent-based) automation.
  • Integrate AI functionality into existing platform services and automation pipelines.
  • Collaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to find opportunities for AI-driven automation.
  • Write production-ready code with testing and validation.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow engineering standards.
  • Support deployment and CI/CD release processes.
  • Troubleshoot and improve AI-enabled automation workflows.

Requirements

  • Strong Python experience in production environments.
  • Experience building AI agent-based systems or intelligent workflow automation solutions.
  • Experience with agent orchestration / workflow frameworks such as LangGraph / LangChain (or similar graph-based / multi-step LLM orchestration tools).
  • Understanding how to build production applications that integrate AI into broader platforms.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps release processes (e.g., GitHub and/or Azure DevOps).
  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Ability to translate business workflows into structured automated or AI-assisted processes.

Preferred

  • Exposure to GCP-based AI development tools/services.
  • Experience integrating AI into enterprise platforms or internal engineering tooling.
  • Experience designing structured agent workflows (e.g., DAGs, stateful orchestration, decision-tree-based AI flows).
