Python Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Python Developer to design, build, and continuously enhance enterprise-grade Python applications, data-intensive services, and automation platforms. This is a hands-on engineering role operating in distributed, mission-critical production environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and development for complex enterprise Python applications, including advanced troubleshooting of non-trivial technical issues.
• Write secure, production-ready Python code with attention to concurrency, fault-tolerance, and observability.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts and ensure day-to-day development follows defined constraints, performance requirements, and enterprise standards.
• Develop and optimize data processing pipelines for large-scale datasets (e.g., extraction, transformation, validation, deduplication, enrichment, and performance tuning) for batch and near-real-time use cases.
• Proactively identify root causes and raise the overall engineering bar by improving practices across the team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture and data engineering.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into well-engineered technical solutions.
• Must be willing to complete a technical coding assessment.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience supporting distributed systems in production.
• Demonstrated operational support skills (reliability, debugging, and continuous improvements).

Employment / Location / Visa

• 100% remote (Continental United States)
• Full-time, direct W2 employment with Bright Vision Technologies (no C2C/1099/third-party)
• Long-term, multi-year in-house SOW engagement
• Base salary: $100K–$150K/year + benefits
• H1B sponsorship may be available for qualified candidates; H1B transfers welcomed
