Python Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Python Developer for a 100% remote (Continental United States) full-time, direct W2 in-house SOW engagement. This is a hands-on engineering role designing, building, and improving complex, enterprise-grade Python applications, data-intensive services, and automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and development for complex enterprise-grade Python applications.
• Perform advanced technical troubleshooting and identify root causes for complex issues.
• Write secure, high-quality, production-ready Python code for distributed systems.
• Develop algorithms with attention to concurrency, fault-tolerance, and observability.
• Create architecture and design artifacts; ensure daily development meets performance and enterprise standards.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines for large datasets (e.g., extraction, transformation, validation, deduplication, enrichment) for batch and near-real-time workloads.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture and the ability to translate ambiguous business problems into technical solutions.
• Deep Python expertise with operational support experience.
• Ability to deliver reliable systems in distributed, mission-critical production environments.
• Must complete a mandatory technical coding assessment.
• Must be able to work directly as a full-time W2 employee (no C2C/1099/third-party arrangements).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience partnering with product, data, and infrastructure teams.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively raise engineering quality and team standards.
