Python Developer

Role Overview

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced Python Developer for a 100% remote (Continental United States) full-time role as a direct W2 employee. This is a long-term, multi-year in-house SOW engagement (no third-party clients/vendors).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and continuously enhance enterprise-grade Python applications and data-intensive services
• Provide end-to-end engineering and advanced technical troubleshooting for complex production issues
• Write secure, high-quality, production-ready Python code for distributed systems, with focus on:
  • Concurrency, fault-tolerance, and observability
• Create technical architecture/design artifacts and ensure engineering work meets performance and enterprise standards
• Develop and optimize data processing pipelines for large-scale datasets (ETL-style work), including:
  • Extraction, transformation, validation, deduplication, enrichment, and performance tuning

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Python developer
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture and data engineering
• Hands-on ability to deliver robust, secure, high-performance Python systems in distributed/mission-critical environments
• Ability to interpret ambiguous business problems and translate them into well-engineered solutions
• Willingness to complete a mandatory technical coding assessment
