Role Overview

Join Serp Api as a Software Engineer (Python Developer) to design, develop, and maintain the core API services powering its search engine data solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize API endpoints for high performance and reliability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate product requirements into technical solutions
Maintain code quality through code reviews and testing
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly
Implement new features and improve existing functionality based on user feedback
Monitor system performance and conduct regular security assessments
Stay current with industry trends and continuously improve the technology stack and service offerings

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proven experience building and maintaining scalable web services and APIs
Proficiency in Python (also mentions Java or Node.js)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles
Familiarity with AWS or Google Cloud
Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively

Nice to Have

Experience working in Agile development environments
Knowledge of search engine algorithms and data scraping techniques
