Role Overview

Intellectt Inc is seeking a Python Technical Lead / Machine Learning Engineer specializing in Generative AI and GCP. The role is remote and involves building, deploying, and optimizing production AI/ML systems, including RAG and LLM-based products.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions using Python and relevant frameworks.
• Design, train, and optimize models for tasks such as:
  • Classification, regression, forecasting, and predictive analytics.
• Build and enhance RAG systems using large language models (e.g., Gemini) to improve retrieval and generation.
• Create end-to-end MLOps pipelines on GCP, leveraging services such as:
  • Vertex AI, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and related tooling.
• Perform data analysis, feature engineering, and model performance tuning.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead technical initiatives and mentor junior engineers, promoting best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
• Stay current with advances in Generative AI and cloud technologies and apply improvements to ongoing work.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in machine learning in production environments.
• Strong Python skills, including experience with:
  • PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Pandas.
• Advanced SQL and data analysis expertise.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, and RAG systems.
• Proficiency with GCP, especially:
  • Vertex AI and BigQuery.
• Solid understanding of MLOps, including CI/CD pipelines and model deployment processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in a related field.
• Experience building RAG solutions from scratch.
• Proven technical leadership and mentorship experience.
