Python Coding Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project

Role Overview

Freelance Python Coding Specialist – AI Trainer (partner-managed). You will help improve large language models by creating and evaluating high-quality training data focused on reasoning and coding abilities.

Responsibilities

• Tackle advanced Python programming tasks and software engineering scenarios with AI models.
• Review generated code for accuracy, efficiency, readability, and adherence to best practices.
• Test model responses across topics such as:
  • algorithms and data structures
  • object-oriented programming
  • asynchronous programming
  • APIs and cloud systems
  • debugging and troubleshooting
• Identify errors and produce reproducible failure cases; provide detailed feedback to improve model performance.
• Contribute to refinement of evaluation methods and prompt engineering via technical insights.
• Communicate technical reasoning clearly (approaches, decisions, and improvements).

Requirements

• Strong professional Python experience and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with at least some of: algorithms, data structures, backend/frontend development, system programming, cloud infrastructure, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with debugging, code review, API integration, secure coding practices, and software architecture.
• Bachelor’s/Master’s/PhD in CS or related field preferred.
• Experience with technical writing/documentation, open-source, or explaining complex concepts is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and clear communication.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based setting.

Compensation & Work Model

• $8–$65/hour freelance compensation (based on experience, expertise, and location).
• Fully remote / flexible work.
• Contractors provide their own secure equipment and reliable high-speed internet.
