Python AI Engineer/Remote

Role Overview

Apetan Consulting LLC is seeking a Python AI Engineer (Remote) to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and machine learning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI/ML applications in Python
• Build, train, and optimize machine learning models
• Work with large datasets for preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering
• Integrate AI models into web applications, APIs, and business systems
• Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product teams
• Monitor model performance and improve accuracy over time
• Implement and maintain REST APIs for AI services
• Document code, processes, and technical solutions

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Python
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms
• Experience with ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
• Data manipulation: Pandas, NumPy
• Familiarity with SQL and databases
• Understanding of REST APIs and backend development
• Version control with Git
• Basic understanding of cloud platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Familiarity with LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Experience with cloud services: AWS, Azure, GCP
