About the role
Role Overview
Join Injective Labs to develop core protocol infrastructure for the next generation of DeFi. This senior role focuses on building and optimizing blockchain components that directly affect network performance, block times/throughput, and interoperability.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core blockchain logic in Golang, including:
- Cosmos SDK modules
- Consensus mechanisms
- State machine optimizations
- Develop and maintain performance-critical bridge infrastructure and cross-chain interoperability solutions.
- Collaborate with a small team to research, architect, and ship network upgrades that push L1 throughput and latency limits.
Requirements
- Deep professional experience in Golang, with a track record building and maintaining high-performance, concurrent production systems at scale.
- Strong blockchain infrastructure background, specifically with one or more of:
- Cosmos SDK
- Tendermint/CometBFT
- other L1/L2 protocols
- Understanding of financial product mechanics in decentralized contexts, such as:
- order-book DEXs
- perpetuals
- derivatives
- market microstructure
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience shipping protocol-level upgrades that impact real-world trading volume and cross-chain interoperability.
