Role Overview

Joinrs (Legendary Homes team at TTR Sotheby’s International Realty) is seeking a PropTech Developer to design, build, and scale digital solutions for the real estate industry. You’ll work at the intersection of property, data, and technology, developing platforms that streamline transactions, enhance asset management, and improve experiences for buyers, sellers, and operators.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable PropTech applications, including:
- property management systems
- listing platforms
- transaction tools
Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and data pipelines connecting real estate platforms, CRMs, and third-party services
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Optimize performance, security, and reliability across cloud environments
Implement data-driven features such as property analytics, valuation models, or smart search
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code
Stay current with PropTech trends and emerging technologies in real estate

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
1+ year of software development experience (ideally PropTech, FinTech, or marketplaces)
Proficiency in modern languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
Experience with frontend (React, Vue) and/or backend (Node.js, Django, Spring) frameworks
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP
Solid database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL)
Experience working in remote, agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with real estate data systems (e.g., MLS integrations, property datasets, geospatial data)
Knowledge of GIS and/or mapping technologies
Exposure to AI/ML for real estate (pricing, recommendations, forecasting)
Understanding of real estate workflows (leasing, transactions, asset management)
DevOps practices: CI/CD and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
