About the role

Role Overview

Joinrs’ Legendary Homes team (TTR Sotheby’s International Realty) is seeking a PropTech Developer to design, build, and scale innovative digital solutions for the real estate industry. You’ll work at the intersection of property, data, and technology, with a strong product mindset in a fully remote environment.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable PropTech applications (e.g., property management systems, listing platforms, transaction tools)
Build and maintain APIs, integrations, and data pipelines connecting real estate platforms, CRMs, and third-party services
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
Optimize performance, security, and reliability across cloud environments
Implement data-driven features such as property analytics, valuation models, and smart search
Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience)
1+ year of software development experience (preferably PropTech, FinTech, or marketplaces)
Proficiency with modern languages such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
Experience with React and/or Vue for frontend and/or Node.js, Django, or Spring for backend
Strong experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL)
Experience working in remote, Agile development environments

Preferred Qualifications

Real estate data systems experience (MLS integrations, property datasets, geospatial data)
GIS/mapping knowledge
Exposure to AI/ML for real estate (pricing, recommendations, forecasting)
Understanding of real estate workflows (leasing, transactions, asset management)
DevOps experience: CI/CD, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
