Project Manager

Role Overview

Trimble Transportation is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Transportation Technology to lead enterprise software deployments for transportation logistics clients. You will orchestrate complex professional services projects by aligning delivery with customer goals while coordinating cross-functional subject matter experts.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects, including establishing schedules and ensuring timely milestone execution.
• Build and maintain executive-level, high-trust client relationships to align scope and delivery with long-term business goals.
• Govern scope, resourcing, and budget tracking, while proactively mitigating risks and handling change control.
• Lead technical resources and SMEs to resolve blockers and perform root cause analysis to maintain high-quality delivery.
• Communicate project status transparently across internal stakeholders and external customer teams through effective presentations.

Requirements

• Proven experience leading concurrent, high-impact commercial software deployments and technology implementations.
• Strong understanding of project management fundamentals and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• PMP or PMI certification.
• Relevant experience in the trucking, logistics, or transportation industry.

Nice to Have

• Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet and Microsoft Project.
• Experience in client-facing consulting environments and creating/operating under Statements of Work (SOWs).
