About the role
Role Overview
Kate Farms is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide embedded, part-time support (30–35 hours/week) for its Blended Program through the end of 2026. Reporting to the Associate Director, Project Management, the Project Manager will drive cross-functional execution across strategic initiatives spanning product development, manufacturing, and commercialization within the blended nutrition portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Lead embedded coordination across multiple interconnected initiatives within the Blended Program to keep work aligned with business objectives.
- Own delivery of key milestones by leading project team members and proactively removing blockers.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, and governance processes across cross-functional workstreams.
- Manage risks, dependencies, decisions, and action items, ensuring accountability for deliverables and milestones.
- Partner with stakeholders across Product Development, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Marketing, Commercial, and Operations to support alignment and decision-making.
- Coordinate activities supporting product renovation, reformulation, packaging innovation, manufacturing integration, portfolio optimization, and brand integration.
- Support portfolio strategy and commercialization readiness via launch planning, customer transition activities, and go-to-market execution.
- Facilitate project meetings and provide executive-ready status updates, recommendations, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve coordination, streamline execution, and enhance collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 5+ years of project/program management experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives.
- PMP certification (or equivalent project management certification) required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders in an ambiguous, fast-paced, evolving environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Strong experience in consumer-packaged goods (CPG) and complex programs requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
