Project Manager I

Role Overview

Project Manager I is an entry-level, operational Project Management role within TEECOM’s internal PM career path. You report to Team Leads and help keep the delivery “machinery” running through tracking, documentation, coordination, and reporting, so Team Leads can focus on client relationships and strategic leadership.

Responsibilities

Delivery Execution & Coordination

• Coordinate across scope, schedule, milestones, and action items
• Maintain visibility into project status, risks, and coordination needs
• Support workload/capacity visibility for Team Lead review
• Reinforce consistent project organization for predictable delivery

Operational Discipline & Tracking

• Maintain accurate project tracking data and up-to-date reporting
• Support consistent project setup, closeout, and documentation practices
• Improve team visibility via disciplined tracking and follow-through

Improve the TEECOM System

• Follow established workflows and documentation standards
• Keep client documentation organized and aligned with current project status
• Capture and surface lessons learned and process updates
• Contribute documentation improvements via Pull Requests (GitHub-based documentation platform)
• Identify and elevate documentation inconsistencies for continuous improvement

AEC Technology Domain Awareness

• Build foundational familiarity with TEECOM’s technology systems (e.g., telecommunications infrastructure, structured cabling, audiovisual, security, acoustics, wired/wireless networks)
• Apply that awareness to improve tracking and documentation accuracy

Requirements

• Entry-level suitability for an internal operational PM track (no client relationship ownership expected)
• Ability to maintain reliable project data and reporting
• Strong documentation discipline and workflow adherence
• Comfort contributing to documentation via GitHub-style review/PR workflow

Nice-to-Haves

• Foundational knowledge of AEC technology systems (telecom, structured cabling, AV, security, acoustics, networks)
• Interest in PMO/process improvement via sharing lessons learned and supporting documentation standards
