About the role
Role Overview
The Program Manager drives complex technical initiatives end-to-end, coordinating engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to deliver critical software platforms on schedule. You will remove operational roadblocks, govern release management lifecycles, and translate product strategy into executable plans.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale engineering initiatives using Agile/Scrum in Jira and Confluence
- Facilitate cross-functional planning sessions with engineering leads, product managers, and QA to align on milestones and dependencies
- Track program health, resource allocation, and budget burn-down; surface execution risks to leadership proactively
- Design and optimize release management processes and CI/CD deployment pipelines across distributed technical teams
- Establish operational KPIs, velocity metrics, and run retrospectives to improve throughput
Requirements
- 4–7 years of technical program/project management experience in a software/technology company
- Deep familiarity with SDLC and modern engineering tooling
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure: AWS/GCP
- Exceptional facilitation, stakeholder management, and written communication across technical and executive audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, Business, or a related technical field
Nice to Have
- PMP, CSM, or SAFe Agile certifications
- Hands-on scripting/automation experience with Python or SQL
