Program Manager

Role Overview

The Program Manager leads cross-functional technical initiatives from conception through delivery. You align engineering, product, and operations to remove execution roadblocks, manage dependencies, and establish scalable processes for fast-moving technology teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive complex technical programs from planning through deployment, managing scope, timelines, and interdependencies across engineering teams
• Establish program governance and track OKRs and delivery milestones
• Use Jira and Confluence to surface risks proactively to leadership
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment between engineering, product, and infrastructure via structured planning cadences
• Design and implement release management processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for distributed systems
• Analyze delivery metrics and post-mortem insights to improve engineering velocity and predictability
• Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate program health, resource constraints, and ROI transparently

Requirements

• 4–7 years of technical program or project management experience in a high-growth technology environment
• Deep familiarity with Agile SDLC and modern project tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Linear)
• Strong technical aptitude: ability to understand infrastructure, API integrations, and software architecture discussions
• Exceptional facilitation and communication skills for both engineers and executives
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

• PMP, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or SAFe certification
• Hands-on experience scaling distributed microservices
