About the role

Role Overview

Join Ready’s P3 team as a Program Manager (Customer Implementation). You will manage client-by-client customer implementations, translate customer needs into technical requirements, and guide state/local partners through program onboarding and execution—ensuring projects progress from mandate to delivery with clarity and momentum.

Responsibilities

Directly manage customer implementations on a client-by-client basis, moving complex, multi-stakeholder work from mandate to execution.
Partner with embedded engineers and product teams to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
Own end-to-end implementation delivery for assigned customers, driving cadences and managing dependencies, risks, scope, and timelines.
Serve as a trusted partner to government stakeholders, operating effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Use modern PM tools (including AI) to streamline workflows, surface insights, and improve customer outcomes.

Requirements

Proven experience in program or project management for complex, multi-stakeholder implementations in fast-paced environments.
Strong program management discipline with technical fluency.
Ability to gather requirements and partner with engineering teams to ship software/data/technical products, including writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria.
Comfortable with scoping tradeoffs and maintaining structured execution across teams.
Exceptional communication, relationship building, and stakeholder management.
Hands-on experience with modern PM/collaboration tools such as Linear, Notion, Slack, and AI platforms like Claude or ChatGPT.
Experience implementing technical or data-driven solutions in/with the government sector (e.g., GovTech, civic tech, federal grant programs).
Ability to understand policy frameworks and translate them into actionable guidance.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with a strong instinct for anticipating risks and opportunities.

Nice-to-haves

Familiarity with project management methodologies or certifications: PMP, Agile, Scrum.
Experience with federal funding and compliance flows in state and local government (GovTech/broadband/infrastructure programs).
Master’s degree in a related field.
