Produktmanager – PC-Hardware (m/w/d)

Role Overview

Product Manager – PC Hardware (m/w/d) to strengthen Mifcom’s Product Management team. You’ll develop the PC hardware/configuration domain by applying deep system understanding to the interaction of components, with an emphasis on overall system performance.

Responsibilities

• Own product assortment strategy for PC components: product selection, technical validation, compatibility checks, and continued portfolio evolution
• Use a holistic system view (not individual parts) to improve the configuration offering
• Drive vendor management for assigned product groups and serve as the main internal contact for manufacturers and distributors on technical and commercial topics
• Conduct supplier negotiations for purchasing conditions: framework agreements, discount tiers, and special promotions to improve margin and availability
• Evaluate new products technically: compatibility, performance, and processing/quality
• Monitor market, trend, and competitor developments and derive assortment and pricing decisions
• Maintain and manage article data (technical details) in the ERP/warenwirtschaft system and online shop
• Improve product management processes (e.g., forecasting and reporting) and coordinate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, and Service
• Collaborate closely with other teams to clarify assortment and availability topics early

Requirements

• Completed education (apprenticeship) or degree with commercial or technical focus (e.g., Business Administration, Business Engineering, Computer Science) or an equivalent qualification
