About the role
Role overview
Join Plaid’s Strategic Finance team to help shape the company’s long-term business strategy and execution. You’ll turn performance data into actionable insights and build forecasting and analytical frameworks used by management, the Board, and employees.
Responsibilities
- Drive initiatives including P&L forecasting
- Design analytical and financial frameworks to improve decision-making
- Provide performance insights to management, the Board, and employees
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners and translate complex problems into structured frameworks and action plans
Requirements
- 2–3 years of relevant experience (e.g., investment banking, private equity, venture capital, strategic finance, FP&A, or consulting)
- Strong analytical skills and financial modeling
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Passion for financial services innovation and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- SQL knowledge (or strong desire to learn)
- Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and actionable plans
