- Gather and interpret stakeholder/organizational needs, translating them into concise work items (e.g., PBIs, features, bugs, and research spikes)
- Become an expert on internal processes, hardware, and software tools, and apply that knowledge to improve systems
- Explain the what and why behind work items to support refinement and sizing
- Continuously prioritize and organize the backlog to keep the most critical items on track
- Use Minimum Viable Product (MVP) thinking to deliver within deadlines
- Create and communicate a quarterly roadmap to align the team and stakeholders
- Test completed work against Acceptance Criteria and coordinate smooth deployments with warehouse teams
- Troubleshoot issues and support the team’s software via Teams and a shared team inbox
- Attend daily/weekly Scrum meetings and follow the team’s working agreement
- Publish training materials and FAQ resources to help users adopt the systems
- Facilitate discussions to gather feedback and identify improvement opportunities
- Coordinate with other departments and third-party vendors when work crosses team boundaries
Requirements / Qualifications
- Ability to travel overnight to distribution centers throughout the U.S. (up to 25%)
- Strong requirements for remote work setup (reliable high-speed internet, noise/distraction-free workspace, physical address for equipment delivery)
- Ability to communicate and collaborate via chat and video
- Physical ability to perform workstation tasks and occasional light lifting (up to 50 lbs) and movement as needed
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with WMS/WES or warehouse/operations domain knowledge (implied by the role focus)
- Familiarity with agile teams and backlog management in Azure DevOps
