Product Owner

Role: Product Owner (Remote, UK)

Reports to the Product Manager and works Mon–Fri (37.5 hours/week). You will manage your product portfolio and act as the key liaison between Product Management and Development.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to define strategic work and drive delivery.
• Gather, define, and document product/service requirements, coordinating input from customers, prospects, partners, sales, development, and market/competitive trends.
• Produce key product documentation such as Business Requirements Documents, Business Cases, and Product Release Plans.
• Define release cadence with the Product Manager and ensure releases are delivered on time and on budget.
• Support execution in a hands-on way (fill gaps as needed) and provide resource input across product initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate risks/issues proactively to keep product releases on track; provide progress updates to stakeholders.
• Onboard new staff with initial product knowledge.
• Work with related teams to ensure adoption of VitalHub standards, best practices, and processes.
• Answer product questions for Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and external partners; ensure other functions have the product information they need.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as a client advocate.
• Help with technical presentations and product demonstrations (customer briefings, conferences, public forums).

Requirements (Essential)

• Demonstrable experience as a Product Owner, Scrum Master, or similar.

• Strong ability to communicate and to drive cohesive, market-driven requirements that are feasible to deliver.
• Passion for learning the product domain and improving it through data, feedback, and customer interaction.
