About the role

Role Overview

You will serve as Product Owner within a Scrum team, owning backlog prioritization and driving release planning and delivery. The position focuses on healthcare/product needs, including alignment with regulatory and industry changes.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product backlog: prioritize items, define user stories, sprint objectives, and acceptance criteria.
  • Lead release planning: define release scope and timelines, coordinate across technology and business teams.
  • Ensure release delivery readiness: manage communication and alignment with development schedules and quality standards.
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver user-friendly, efficient product interfaces.
  • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including:
    • Stand-ups
    • Sprint planning
    • Sprint reviews
    • PI planning
    • Retrospectives
  • Maintain clear, professional communication across all levels of the organization.
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in population health and value-based contracting.
  • Author release notes and support demos and field training as needed to keep clients informed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience as a Product Owner (preferably health tech or another regulated industry).
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of release planning, release management, and product delivery.
  • Experience collaborating with UI/UX teams to deliver intuitive user experiences.
  • Knowledge of care coordination, risk adjustment, and value-based reimbursement models.
  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence; familiarity with design tools such as Figma and Miro.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
