Product Owner

Role Overview

You will join a client’s New Property and Casualty team as an experienced Product Owner (and/or support role via a Project Manager track) to help drive continued feature development and onboarding.

• Product Owner (PO): Focused on product delivery in an Agile environment.
• Project Manager (PM): Augments the PO team to support feature development and onboarding.

Location / Contract

• Remote (ideally EDT or CDT time zones)
• Duration: 12 months (could be extended)
• Estimated start: 05/25/2026
• Interview process: 2 steps

Responsibilities (Product Owner)

• Requirements gathering and documentation
• Conduct user interviews
• Create and manage user stories and task tracking
• Collaborate across multiple teams to support delivery
• Use AI to drive business efficiencies

Responsibilities (Project Manager)

• Augment the PO team for continued feature development and onboarding of new business units
• Coordinate with data, finance, and development teams
• Plan and coordinate go-live dates and meet business deadlines
• Utilize AI to improve business efficiencies
• Support UAT and go-live rollouts

Requirements

Product Owner

• 7+ years experience as a Product Owner for custom software in an Agile environment
• Experience in the insurance industry (including underwriting / PNC)
• AI experience

Project Manager

• At least 10 years experience as a Project Manager in the underwriting world
• Insurance industry experience
• Experience with custom software in an Agile environment
• Requirements gathering, documentation, task tracking
• UAT and go-live rollout experience

Soft Skills

• Work well under pressure and handle changing priorities
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Able to take feedback and collaborate effectively

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay range: $60–$70 per hour (W2)
