Product Owner (Remote or Relocate)

Role Overview

As a Product Owner at Propellerhead, you ensure clarity on the next most valuable thing to deliver. This is a client-facing role focused on maintaining long-term customer relationships through continuous, high-value delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Product backlog management: Build and groom the backlog, ensure items are appropriately sized, prioritised, and ready for delivery.
• Communication: Clearly communicate backlog items to the delivery team to create shared understanding of problems and solutions.
• Delivery constraints: Ensure delivery teams work on funded backlog items and adjust delivery scope as needed.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Work with internal and client stakeholders to create and prioritise valuable deliverables with clear, measurable outcomes.
• Scope and value management: Manage scope to deliver maximum value while using resources efficiently.
• Outcome determination: Assess whether deliverables achieved desired outcomes and adjust based on feedback and results.
• Team coordination: Keep delivery teams informed of upcoming work and provide relevant context to support product direction.

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar) in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders to define and prioritise product features.
• Familiarity with product management tools and software.
