Product Owner / Projektkoordinator:in Software (m/w/d) - Development Crew

Role Overview

You will work as Product Owner / Project Coordinator (Software) for Worksimple’s Unicorn Development Team. In this role you act as the interface between the development team and customers, steering software projects in an agile way.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product backlog: define requirements, create and maintain User Stories and acceptance criteria
• Requirements & communication: align with stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations
• Agile ceremonies: plan and moderate sprint planning, reviews, and refinements
• Project tracking: monitor progress, budgets, and timelines
• Planning: create roadmaps and plan releases
• Delivery & billing support: document project status and provide release approvals for invoicing

Requirements

• Agile/Scrum-aligned working and the ability to run projects with independence
• Technical understanding of software development
• Home-office readiness and strong self-organization
• Training/studies such as Fachinformatiker:in (Anwendungsentwicklung) or equivalent
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Strong communication skills, including with customers
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
• German C1

Nice-to-haves / Additional context

• Experience in individual software projects and ERP contexts (including Odoo) is relevant to the team’s scope

Work model

• Remote-first (locations referenced: NRW, Bayern, Brandenburg, Berlin)
• 3x per year offsites (3–5 days) and flexible working hours
• Self-organized teams (e.g., dailies, retros, delegation poker)
