About the role

Role Overview

Product Owner, Data Integrations at Princess Cruises. You will shape and execute the product strategy for data integrations to enhance customer engagement and support business growth. You will manage the product backlog and ensure key platforms (including Snowflake, Informatica, and Adobe products) meet evolving customer needs aligned to company objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Own & prioritize the Data Integrations product backlog
    • Define, organize, and prioritize backlog items by business value, customer needs, and technical feasibility.
    • Balance trade-offs across speed, scope, quality, integration technologies, and downstream systems.
  • Lead agile planning & sprint execution
    • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
    • Drive predictable delivery velocity and continuous improvement.
    • Remove impediments and keep the scrum team focused on high-impact work.
    • Oversee a scrum team with 8 indirect reports.
  • Gather, refine & translate requirements
    • Work with Marketing, Sales, IT, Customer Care, and Digital to translate needs into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
    • Cover customer journeys across pre-cruise, onboard, and post-cruise.
  • Stakeholder alignment & expectation management
    • Communicate timelines, priorities, and trade-offs with stakeholders.
    • Resolve conflicts and negotiate scope decisions to prevent cross-department misalignment.
  • Support CRM integration & technical alignment
    • Collaborate with IT/engineering to ensure integrations across booking systems, mobile apps, loyalty platforms, and other touchpoints.
    • Address technical constraints and ensure consistent data flow for personalized omnichannel experiences.
  • Define and communicate product vision
    • Articulate product vision aligned to company strategy, guest experience goals, and digital transformation.
    • Inspire the team with clear goals/outcomes and measurable business results.
  • Drive user story quality & acceptance
    • Write, review, and validate user stories for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with the Data Integrations product direction.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data and integration technologies.
  • Ability to translate business needs into actionable product features.

  • Experience integrating data across customer engagement touchpoints (e.g., booking, apps, loyalty).
