About the role

Role Overview

Product Owner to drive delivery of enterprise analytics and BI solutions within Agile/Scrum data teams. Own product strategy, backlog, and execution for analytics deliverables.

Responsibilities

Act as Product Owner within Agile/Scrum teams supporting data engineering and BI initiatives
Translate business needs into user stories and actionable requirements
Manage and prioritize the product backlog for high-value analytics deliverables
Lead Agile ceremonies: stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
Partner with stakeholders to align on product vision, priorities, and outcomes
Oversee development of dashboards, data pipelines, and analytics solutions
Monitor delivery and remove blockers to ensure timely outcomes
Support adoption with training materials, documentation, and communication
Analyze analytics outputs to validate BI solutions and inform product decisions

Requirements

5+ years product ownership experience in analytics or BI environments
Strong background in data architecture and data pipelines
Experience working with data engineering and BI teams
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python scripting
Exposure to Medallion architecture
Hands-on experience with BI tools (e.g., Power BI)
Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
Strong communication skills and ability to translate vision into execution
Solid project management skills across the full product lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting AI/ML or data science initiatives
Background in operational analytics (e.g., routing, logistics)
Experience with change management and user adoption strategies
