Product Owner

Role Overview

Technical Product Owner / Product Specialist for a Retail Pharmacy environment. This is a remote role supporting enterprise product delivery through Agile execution and Program Increment (PI) planning.

Responsibilities

• Define and write user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize and manage the team backlog based on business value.
• Drive day-to-day product development with cross-functional Agile teams.
• Decompose features into value-driven user stories aligned with business and technical stakeholders.
• Lead sprint execution by validating readiness and tracking story progress.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and ensure high-quality delivery.
• Support Program Increment (PI) Planning: prepare stories, manage dependencies, collaborate on PI demos, and communicate delivery status.
• Partner with AI teams by creating AI-related use cases.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Product Owner/Product Lead/Product Manager (enterprise context).
• Strong user story writing and backlog prioritization experience.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and SAFe.
• AI experience: create use cases and collaborate with AI teams.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Bachelor’s degree in IT or Pharmacy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Retail pharmacy or healthcare domain experience.
• Experience supporting Program Increment (PI) Planning.
• Prior leadership or team-influencing experience (2+ years).

Compensation

• $55/hr to $60/hr (exact pay may vary by skills, experience, and education).
