Product Owner

Role Overview

Join Flex as a Product Owner to drive the creation and evolution of fintech products and customer experiences.

Key Missions

• Own and develop Flex’s “Growth engine” across “Infinite wedges,” driving customer acquisition through unique software experiences.
• Enhance financial services and products by improving user experience, adding features, and responding to changing customer needs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities in operational processes and develop internal financial solutions that increase efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and work with engineering to deliver product outcomes.
• Conduct user research to inform product decisions.
• Leverage data analytics and market insights to guide the product strategy.
• Work with customer support to capture user needs and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations.
• Develop and maintain a clear product roadmap and manage execution through sprints.

Requirements

• Analytical mindset and ability to use data/insights to drive product decisions.
• Ability to run sprints.
• Proficiency with product management tools/platforms to manage the backlog and track progress.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner (or similar) in a startup setting, ideally focused on financial products.
• Passion for innovation, customer-centricity, and continuous improvement.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with compliance standards, regulations, and security protocols for credit and banking.
• Knowledge of credit risk assessment, lending processes, and banking operations.
