About the role
Role Overview
Product Owner, Commerce (Digital Experiences – Commerce Team) at Chipotle. You will partner with Product Managers and Product Line Managers to translate customer needs into feature details and user stories for development teams. You will act as the customer advocate, prioritize the backlog, and help build, launch, and iterate on commerce capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze feature requirements; distill Acceptance Criteria into User Stories.
- Define and prioritize product and sprint backlogs; lead refinement sessions.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert on content integrations and the Content Management System (CMS) while capturing requirements for the Scrum Team.
- Communicate product goals/vision to the Agile Delivery team and stakeholders.
- Participate in estimation and work planning; manage the product release process.
- Review and accept deliverables for completeness against requirements and overall customer experience pre/post-launch.
- Participate in discovery sessions for new features/projects and contribute domain knowledge.
- Set Sprint Goals, track timelines, and communicate delivery dates to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–5 years experience as a Product Owner (or similar role).
- Experience with B2C ecommerce websites.
- Experience using a CMS (Adobe Experience Manager preferred).
- Strong experience working in Agile/Scrum; ability to lead requirements capture, write user stories, and prioritize backlog.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, listening, and facilitation skills.
- Strong UX understanding: UX design, user flows, wireframes.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Nice to Have
- Scrum PO Certification.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred.
