Product Owner, Cloud Services

Own and continuously refine a cloud services team backlog to deliver measurable business and customer outcomes in an agile delivery environment.

Responsibilities

Own, refine, and prioritize the team backlog (features, enablers, defects) to maximize customer and business value, balancing new work, technical debt, and operational needs.
Write product artifacts: epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and non-functional requirements (security, performance, compliance) to enable reliable engineering and UX delivery.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design/UX, QA, Documentation, and Support to coordinate delivery.
Run agile execution with the delivery framework:
- Scrum: partner with the Scrum Master on sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- SAFe/ART: coordinate with the Release Train Engineer (RTE), contribute to PI planning inputs, define team PI objectives, and track program dependencies.
Make timely scope/trade-off decisions; accept increments against agreed criteria and keep delivery unblocked.
Support release activities including handover to operations/support, UAT clarifications, defect triage, and applying incident learnings.
Coordinate across multiple time zones with distributed teams.
Participate in customer interviews / VOC sessions to capture feedback and guide prioritization.
Align cadence with Scrum Masters, RTEs, and PMOs; remove impediments.
Ensure clear acceptance and handover criteria for every epic.

Proven experience owning and delivering measurable business outcomes.
Experience owning backlogs, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, and participating in PI planning.
Practical experience with backlog/ALM tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in business, CS/engineering, or equivalent experience.
Ability to work across multiple time zones; occasional travel.

Experience managing complex portfolios or customer-facing SaaS products.
Expertise in Product Discovery, A/B testing, and instrumentation/analytics (including SQL).
Exposure to remote device management, multi-tenant SaaS, or embedded platforms.
Certified SAFe Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.
Familiarity with CI/CD, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and observability/monitoring.
Awareness of security/privacy requirements (e.g., encryption/authentication; GDPR/CCPA).
