About the role

Role Overview

Product Owner (Client Experience) for a partner company, focusing on improving the post-payment customer experience in a global B2C digital product used by millions of customers. You will ensure paying users quickly reach meaningful value by improving activation, early engagement, and customer success across the matching and discovery journey.

Responsibilities / Accountabilities

  • Own and continuously improve the post-payment customer journey across core product experiences.
  • Increase user activation by helping paying customers find high-quality matches and sustain early communication in the first week.
  • Identify and resolve friction in discovery, recommendation, and matching flows to improve relevance and satisfaction.
  • Optimize the quality and personalization of offers, invites, and recommendations based on user behavior and preferences.
  • Define and refine customer segmentation strategies to tailor experiences to different user needs.
  • Collaborate with analytics, design, and engineering to test hypotheses, measure impact, and iterate.
  • Develop engagement and reactivation mechanics (e.g., personalization, gamification, communication tools) to improve retention and value realization.

Requirements

  • Strong B2C product management experience, ideally with complex discovery/matching/recommendation systems.
  • Proven track record improving user activation, onboarding, or time-to-value for consumer-facing digital products.
  • Solid understanding of customer journey design, especially for post-payment/subscription contexts.
  • Data-driven product development experience including A/B testing and behavioral analysis.
  • Ability to design and improve segmentation, personalization, and recommendation logic.
  • Strong analytical mindset to identify core user problems beyond feature requests.
  • Experience in high-choice environments with multiple offers/options pathways.
  • Fluent Russian required.
