Product Owner - Agile

Role Overview

The IT Strategy and Portfolio (S&P) Product Owner shapes and improves IT tools, services, and processes that support IT portfolio planning and delivery. You’ll partner with IT, business, and finance stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize work, and deliver technology solutions that drive business value.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage product strategy, roadmap, backlog, and delivery priorities
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions to business needs
• Create and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and work items for planning and delivery
• Lead adoption of portfolio management tools via training, communication, and support
• Track effectiveness using KPIs and continuously improve processes and frameworks
• Support delivery by helping teams achieve high-quality outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field
• 5+ years experience as a Product Owner (or similar) delivering technology/digital solutions
• Experience working in Agile environments (backlog management, sprint planning, user story development)
• Experience creating product requirements, specifications, and business/technical documentation
• Proven success leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Strong stakeholder management across IT, business, and finance
• Experience with IT portfolio management, product strategy, and roadmap development
• Ability to define and track KPIs, metrics, and performance outcomes
• Ability to lead through influence, promote collaboration, and drive continuous improvement
• Experience working across Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery approaches

Preferred / Tools

• Experience with Targetprocess, Jira, Confluence, and/or Microsoft Project

Other

• Occasional travel up to three times annually
