Product Owner, Agentic AI

Role Overview

Product Owner, Agentic AI at Jerry.ai. Join a fast-paced, pre-IPO startup and lead the customer-facing agentic AI product that leverages LLMs, agents, and internal APIs to automate and enhance car ownership experiences.

You’ll own the roadmap for where the next major bets belong (e.g., voicebot, computer use, consumer AI applications) and report directly to the COO.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of the AI platform and customer experiences, from roadmap through rollout.
• Partner with engineers on prompt strategies, evaluation frameworks, and guardrails—balancing latency, cost, and accuracy.
• Act as the technical translator across engineering and the broader organization; establish AI best practices and platform standards.
• Drive systematic improvement in:
  • answer quality
  • customer satisfaction
  • automation rates via rigorous experimentation.
• Work with OpenAI partners to evaluate and deploy next-generation voice models and workflow automation.
• Build a scalable system at the intersection of product, engineering, and applied AI (current system automates >70% of inbound sales/service requests).

Requirements

• 3+ years in a technical role such as forward-deployed engineering or technical product management in a fast-paced startup.
• Strong AI technologist mindset: you follow model releases and can build custom workflows.
• Comfort with technical discussions around API design and system architecture.
• Experimentation-driven approach to discover capabilities and validate outcomes.
• Data-driven: experience with SQL and analyzing data to test hypotheses.
• Ability to navigate tradeoffs and lead by example when implementing AI platform standards.

Nice to Have

• Experience with human-in-the-loop feedback systems and/or LLM evaluation and guardrail practices.
• Hands-on involvement with agentic systems including voice/workflow automation and computer-use agents.
