About the role
Role Overview
Product Operations and Strategy Manager (hands-on)
You will help shape and scale payments and fintech product delivery by turning data into practical operational improvements. The role sits at the intersection of product strategy and day-to-day execution, partnering with product, engineering, compliance, and business stakeholders to reduce friction and accelerate launch timelines.
Responsibilities
- Process & Workflow Optimization
- Identify process gaps and operational inefficiencies; design scalable solutions early.
- Create structured decision-making mechanisms (e.g., RACI models, decision logs, prioritization frameworks).
- Build and refine operational frameworks from ideation through launch and iteration.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & GTM Strategy
- Act as connective tissue between strategy and execution, embedding regulatory/compliance/risk considerations into workflows.
- Own launch-readiness end-to-end: coordinate workstreams, track dependencies, surface risks.
- Support strategic planning for new product initiatives and perform market/competitive analysis.
- Data-Driven Performance & Analysis
- Translate metrics into actionable solutions that remove delivery friction.
- Drive continuous improvement via structured analysis, hypothesis-driven experimentation, and post-launch retrospectives.
- Build and maintain dashboards/reporting for product operations health, launch pipelines, and KPIs.
- Maintain centralized feedback loops from customers, sales, and support to inform the roadmap.
- Tooling & Team Enablement
- Own, configure, and optimize the product/engineering tool stack (e.g., Jira, Notion, Confluence).
- Maintain a centralized knowledge repository (FAQs, release notes, best practices).
Requirements
- 5+ years in Product Operations, Product Management, Strategy Consulting, or a highly operational cross-functional role (preferably in fintech/payments or a high-growth tech environment).
- Strong ability to turn complex data into actionable decisions and measure product performance.
- Excellent communication skills; able to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Experience balancing rapid product innovation with regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and enterprise product management tooling.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote environment (collaboration implied).
Nice-to-Haves
- Deep domain familiarity with modern payments and fintech products.
- Experience building scalable operational frameworks and launch readiness processes across multiple teams.
